Mary Callico
Mary is a passionate mindfulness speaker whose power comes from her vulnerability. Her passion stems from wanting to teach people how to take their power back through exercising a fundamental mindset energy = mindset = attitude = and ultimately leads to change. Her speaking engagements are her shared experiences that aided in her growth of exercising her present skillsets to promote a healthy growth mindset to produce new positive changed experiences for herself. This fundamental mindset is what fuels her mission to teach others how to do the same. My name is Christine McClain. I am a Christian single homeschool mom that has successfully graduated three children. All I have remaining in my personal homeschool journey is my 16-year-old and that is the reason Academy of Christian Education was born. I just wanted a family to finish out his remaining school years. We have just completed our third year and are looking forward to our fourth year servicing K-8th grade. Jessica Eaton
Jessica is a former middle and high school math teacher turned homeschool math teacher and private tutor. After teaching in the public school classroom for 10 years and feeling so discouraged and disheartened by what she saw in the public school system, she left the classroom to find a better way to teach math to more students. That’s when she started The Mindfull Mentor, where she teaches math in a way that’s fun and laid back, not scary and hard, to show students that math can be interesting and exciting and much easier than they think! She teaches group math classes for grades 3-8 both in person in Greensboro and online over zoom. She’s also passionate about researching and sharing homeschool resources to help other families make the transition to homeschooling, and make it easier and more fun for both the kids and the parents!
